The producer receives the number of day-old chicks that corresponds to his agreement with the poultry abattoir – typically approx. 40,000 chicks per house. The chicks are sorted, counted and packed into transportation boxes before they are driven out to the producer in specially built trucks with automatic climate control (temperature and humidity) in order to ensure optimal conditions.
