Traceability
- from farm to table.
No chain is stronger than its weakest link ... which is why we have secures extensive knowledge of the path our produce takes from the farm to the table.
Knowledge of all stages of the production chain makes it possible to trace any source of infection, should the situation arise, for example in cases of salmonella. Thanks to good traceability, we can react quickly and efficiently in order to prevent further infection.
Traceability makes it possible to track:
- where the shipment was delivered
- which poultry farm it came from
- where the feed for this produce came from
- which hatchery the day old chicks came from
- Which flock of chickens the eggs came from
- the chickens' history four generations back
A reference number is printed on all meat packaged by Rose Poultry A/S, so the processing plant can always be quickly identified.
