
Product safety
In addition to our active participation in a long series of Salmonella action plans, we have also invested large sums of money in modern production equipment at our plants, which ensure that the spread of bacteria is held to a minimum.
We would not be able to set such high standards for ourselves without our well trained and highly motivated personnel. Our employees receive continuous training in hygiene and quality awareness. These measures have resulted in our ability to honestly say that we supply salmonella free produce today.
The ability to supply salmonella free products is based on adherence to our control program, which is designed by veterinaries and the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.
The control program specifies among other things:
- where chicken producers may buy day old chicks.
- where feed can be bought.
- how stalls and feed equipment are to be cleaned.
- which examinations have to be done during the growth period.
- which examinations are to be undertaken after slaughtering.
