
From ready to cook
The three abattoirs’ history stretches for more than 50 years back in time to the poultry industry’s pioneer days, where entrepreneurial spirit and innovational skills laid the foundation for the successful development which characterizes our history.
Right from the start, the founders understood how to develop production in step with consumer requirements. The span reaches from pre-prepared "ready to cook" products to "ready to serve" food products today. And using the latest technology, we have developed from a conventional poultry abattoir to the modern food manufacturer with a safe and tasteful feeling for consumer trends and quality.

Read, for example, how Marie and Vagn Pedersen established their business in Vinderup in 1952. The first delivery included 35 hens, three of which escaped and managed to hide briefly in the neighbour’s garden! In the first years, they offered hens and broiler chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys and rabbits.
